ERP Therapists for OCD
Exposure and response prevention specialists
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the gold standard psychotherapy for OCD, with strong evidence showing it helps 60-80% of patients.
How ERP Works
ERP involves systematically exposing individuals to their OCD triggers while helping them resist performing compulsions. Through repeated practice, the brain learns that the feared outcome doesn't occur or is tolerable, and the anxiety naturally decreases. ERP is typically delivered in 12-20 sessions.
