AS sleep challenges include reduced sleep need, difficulty falling asleep, frequent night waking, and disrupted circadian rhythm. Treatment may include melatonin, sleep hygiene strategies, behavioral approaches, and occasionally other sleep medications. Sleep studies may be needed to rule out sleep apnea.
